I have hypothyroid, take medication and have blood work. I have a doubt that Can you have both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism together? In the past year, I have developed high blood pressure.

Usually 150-104. Never goes below 97 on the bottom. Have headaches almost every morning. What could be causing my blood pressure to go up suddenly. In July 2008 it was 116-78.
