Its not so much pain as it is unexpected. I was playing basketball and i went up for a rebound and somebody jumped for the same ball facing towards me. There knee went into the under part of my right knee. It waas at that moment my knee felt like it lock-up in the bent position. The EMS came and put a brace on it to lock into that position. The front of knee was flat to the appearance. When i got to the hospital they took the brace off to do a MRI and it had nothing glaring on the screen. They said it was either a really bad Knee sprain or Torn Liegements. Its been about a year since the injury and it doesnt really hurt it just gives out every once in a while & i cant run cause it will give out. HELP WHATS WRONG WITH MY KNEE????? Heck it took them that long to diagnose me. I been going through this since November 2010 and still cant breathe cough all the time and I told my doctor I want the cartilage surgically removed, I am sick of being sick and want my life back. <p> My husband was even on the computer looking up things before we got a diag. and he thought it might kbe Tietze's Syndrome. They are two different diseases but alot alike. My advice regarding <strong>acute costochondritis</strong> is better safe then sorry and just go to the ER or call 911.
