Ocular Occlusion

This week I lost vision in my right eye to the extent that all I can see is a grey versus black when it is daylight compared to dark — I went to the ER Wed. and they said it was ocular occlusion

It is basically a stroke behind the eye that caused a blockage of blood flow. Hence blindness in the right eye. Is there anything I can do to correct the vision and how do I stop future ones?

How can i treat ocular occlusion ? Should I get a geriatric assessment? and will the assessment do any good or is it just a money maker?
