Delusional People - Ask the Doctor

Delusional People

My dad has previously been placed in the hospital at least four times for “infection” in the stomach. Every single time it is the same symptoms: Behaving like delusional people , he makes no sense when he speaks, high blood sugar readings, and lots of sleeping.

It just doesn’t make sense, and he is always put on 10 days of antibiotics.  I also have Type 2 Diabetes, congestive heart failure, one kidney, arthritis, ulcer wound on heel and am also taking metoclopramide, hydrocodine, furosemide, aspirin, metroprol, isosobride, lisinprol, lantus insulin and sliding scale insulin.

What could it be as he is behaving as delusional people ?
